PAL/NTSC/SECAM STANDARDS & REGION CODE CONVERSION PRICING
All tapes look the same...right? So do DVD's...right? Most of us are not aware that video tapes have different video standards around the world. That was initiated to avoid unauthorized swapping, trading or copying of video material and to avoid breaking international copyright laws.
When the DVD appeared, the larger production houses, such as Disney, Paramount and Century Fox, added another layer of security and assigned additional "region codes" to the world at large. Every continent has its own region code for DVD's and even cruise lines have their own. AMS will gladly re-convert your home movie VHS or DVD from a different country to a viewable format.
